I would recommend Coire Glas to anyone seeking a base for a bit of West Highland exploration. Ticks all the boxes; super hosts and enough breakfast huge to keep you going til teatime.
Tips:We took dinner at The Old Station: half-pub, half-restaurant; a gentle 15 minute stroll away on a level pavement. We left fully fed and watered and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to all else. The village soap shop makes/sells the range used at Coire Glas - good stuff!

A very friendly, safe and efficient service. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with tea facilities and wifi. Good hearty breakfast. Will more than likely return
Tips:Old Station restuarant is within walking distance and an unusual setting... the old railway station of course. Food and service here was excellent with good portion sizes. Local old station beer was also good

Very covid safe. We felt comfortable at all times. Good welcome when we arrived and bright and spacious room. Simon and Morven had a good kowledge of the area and were able to recommend places to eat, We have put them in our book of places to stay and hope to visit again on our many trips to Scotland.
Tips:Try and book a meal at the Ben nevis bunkhouse inn not far from Fort William well worth a visit. If you are going over to Skye check the ferry is running and go that way the views as you go on that road are well worth it.

1. Absolutely loved the measures taken for covid which included the handsanitizers kept in common areas and distancing maintained during breakfast. 2. Brilliant breakfast options - we tried the full English breakfast and the smoked salmon with eggs - was absolutely delicious. 3. Lots of attention to detail paid in every aspect of this place - superb tea/coffee selection in every room, loads of options (books, board games, outdoor garden seating) present in the lounge for guests. 4. Simon was very welcoming and made every effort to make our stay comfortable - gave us recommendations to nearby viewpoints and also offered help with dinner reservations.
Tips:The area around this guesthouse is a very nice and quaint village surrounded by stunning views of the mountains - guests can opt for a nice walk around this place itself without having to venture too far.

Hosts were fab! Breakfast was really great. Bed was super comfy. Good shower. I would recommend to anyone doing the Ben Nevis Hike to stay here.
Tips:Book restaurants in advance! There are very few places to eat and they were all booked up when we arrived. Also, bring an Ipad or similar if you plan on watching TV. Covid makes sharing the downstairs TV area a little less appealing, unfortunately.

We stayed for 3 nights with Morven and Simon at the Coire Glas Guest House as a family of 4. The guest house was friendly and gave us a superb welcome. They followed Government guidelines and we felt save in their facility. The house was fresh, clean and the breakfast choice and standard of cooking was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, provided advice on the the local area, which enhanced our tour of the area. Highly recommended, diolch!
Tips:The Coire Glas Guest House is located near popular tourist attractions, such as Fort William, Ben Nevis, the commanders memorial, Loch Ness and the viaduct in the Harry Potter films. The Restaurant, Russell's is only a 5 minute walk from the Guest House, which is a must to visit.

Simon and Morveen and are a legendary host, from initial conversation through another route to booking on their company website to emails and phone call; everything was professional and spot on. The rooms are like 5*star quality, the shower is so soothing, everybody wanted to keep showering. The organic soap, the soft towels, the cosy beds and duvets. Then the awesome lounges and sofas, o yeah we certainly used them to chill out after a long trek through Ben Nevis. We stayed for two nights and all the guest's members want to go back. Only a few suggestions -> Only one suggestion from our group. More breakfast would be great, like hash browns, larger portions, avocado, yoghurt, fresh juices, fresh fruit.
Tips:Definitely and go and eat at the Whispering Pine Dining Restaurant. The setting, the viewpoint, the interior, the food, the service, the price, the quality, everything is amazing about the restaurant. Sit, enjoy, eat and admire the surroundings.

Highly recommend staying here. It was quiet with amazing views. The room was clean and comfortable, with a modern ensuite and top notch toiletries. Highland tea, coffee, hot choc and biscuits in the room were yummy but the supply of fresh milk in an insulated flask was even better! Also a multi socket charging station in the room came in really handy! The breakfast was even better, so much food, so much choice and all cooked ready for me for the time i chose to eat. The hosts are really friendly and attentive. Can't fault the place.
Tips:The location is about 10 minutes out from Fort William, 15 mins from Glen Nevis. A great staging point for touring the wider area. There is a footpath from the guest house which leads to the commando monument, with some woodland walks for something to do locally. Further afield Glenfinnan viaduct was around a 40 minute drive away.

Wonderful place to stay - great facilities and extremely clean which was very comforting given the virus situation. Good value for money and will definitely return. It would have been good to have a safe place to leave the bikes rather than the car park eg. a shed as we didn't feel fully comfortable leaving them on top of the car.
Tips:Good walks in Spean bridge close to the train station.

We enjoyed our stay at Coire Glas. The owners (Morven & Simon) are very welcoming & friendly. It felt very homely and the location/views was amazing. The communication before & on arrival was great, response was quick and we even managed to check in a bit early which was a bonus. Breakfast, which is included was lovely & various choices to choose from. The lounge area was cosy and there’s an outside sitting area which is gorgeous and looks out on to the mountains. We ordered a take away meal & Simon allowed us to use the dining area to eat and provided us with cutlery and crockery. I definitely recommend them & would love to come back again.
Tips:The Nevis mountain range is a 10 minute drive from Coire Glas Guest House where you can enjoy the various experiences offered such as mountain biking & Gondola. Nearby town is called Fort Williams (18 min drive from the guest house). We ordered a take away curry from ‘Spice Tandoori’ & they serve halal dishes. The food was delicious, portion sizes were huge and the pricing was budget friendly. Simon & Movern are more than happy to recommend and book restaurants for their guests.

Thanks to Simon and Morven for the warm welcome and being very accomodative. The guest house is in a very scenic location with good views. Its clean with friendly hosts and certainly would recommend for others. I will hopefully be staying there again when next in that part of the world. The only issue I had and it wasn't a big deal was lack of WiFi signal in room 2, didn't bother myself and the Mrs too much just went into the lounge, the kids fortunately had a good signal in there room. Certainly recommended for using as a base to visi the local sites . The price was good too Thanks

We very much enjoyed our stay . The welcome was warm and friendly, the room spacious and the beds comfortable.
