East Park is a family run Bed and Breakfast situated in the peaceful village of Roy Bridge in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Set in a woodland area, off the main road, very quiet with local walks, hills and rivers to enjoy. Roy bridge itself is well known for great kayaking with the River Roy and River Spean. A very unspoilt area and amazing scenery looking on to The Grey Corries and The Nevis mountain range. East Park is the perfect place to stop over if you are travelling further afield to the stunning Isle of Skye, Western Isles, Inverness, Oban or Mallaig and enjoy some fine Highland hospitality along the way, we are also in a fantastic location to base yourself for longer stays and enjoy day trips to the historical landscapes in the Highlands, The Caledonian Canal, Ben Nevis, Glenfinnan Viaduct and Monument, The Commando Monument, Corrour and Rannoch Moor all mentioned are within a one hours journey from East Park (some by train only and luckily Roy bridge station is only a minutes walk away).

12th September 2021:

We stayed at the lovely East Park B&B on our way to Skye. Theresa was an excellent host, so attentive to our needs from the moment we booked until we left, going out of her way to make sure we found the house safely following a slight hitch in our journey due to an unexpected road closure! The rooms were spotlessly clean with fresh modern decor, comfortable for a family of 4 and a beautiful ensuite bathroom with the option of a bath or shower. The quiet location and super comfy king size bed made for a peaceful night's sleep. The continental breakfast was excellent with a wide range of cereals and pastries, toast, yoghurts, fruit, cold meats, fruit juice, tea and coffee all freshly served by Theresa who was happy to offer some advice for our onward travel plans. We would highly recommend East Park and would definitely stay here again.

An outstanding stay in a magnificent B&B where the host are happy to do whatever they can to make sure you enjoy your stay, with excellent communication throughout from the point of booking right through to departure.

Tips:

There is a wealth of shopping to be had in nearby Fort William where you can always catch the Jacobite Train and cross the world famous Glenfinnan viaduct and visit the historic fishing town of Mallaig. There is also a lot of Munros in the surrounding area including Ben Nevis.

18th August 2021:

The East Park B&B was superbly maintained and was absolutely fresh. Good breakfast. Water pressure in the ensuites was top notch. The host Theresa made us feel right at home! We were using the facility as a ‘base’ to explore the surrounding area. So didn’t spend much time in the mornings, however I could confidently say that it was the most deepest and refreshing sleep that I had over the last 5 years…..an overall good and peaceful place to rest with lots of positivity in the air.

Tips:

We used the B&B as a base to explore Ben Nevis and the surrounding Fort William area. Everything including shops, Nevis range are 15 -20 mins drive. Roy Bridge railway station is literally 150m from the facility. We had an amazing dinner at the Ben Nevis inn at the base of Ben Nevis (would recommend booking in advance)

11th August 2021:

excellent hosts. warm welcome. Lovely and very clean room and bathroom. The room had lovely view. Beds were very comfortable to sleep on . Lots of space for car parking. I would have preferred cooked breakfast but what they provided was very good and we were satisfied. My only criticism is, a sign board on the building would be great especially because its not in sat nav or google map. we drove in, saw the name on a rock but didnt realise it was that building as there were many number of buildings around, drove on and finally a man guided us back.

Tips:

Location of the property: its the property just next to the rock with their name on (as you drive in, you will see a lot of properties, none has name on them). there are 2 eating places within walking distance, we went to roy bridge hotel which was nice.

Our family had a short but very memorable stay. Very friendly, accommodating and caring hosts. Set up fire pit in short notice. Great location and facilities for all ages.

Tips:

Fort William is about 20 min drive if one fancies township. Nice walks and scenery around. We would visit again and would recommend to others.

We stayed in many places during our trip to Scotland but this was definitely a highlight! Location, cleanliness, facilities were absolutely great but what made this stay so memorable was the host-Theresa. She looked after us and made sure we've got everything we need to enjoy our last hours in Scotland! If you ever travel this way book your stay with East Park B&B

Tips:

Best to ask the host
