Comfortable and immaculately clean. For the price we paid this far exceeded our expectations. Particularly loved the tasty home made treats left for us on the tea tray.
Tips:Situated a pleasant 15 mins walk out of town. Perfect choice for exploring Fort William and surrounding areas. We used it as our base to walk Ben Nevis.

Lovely welcome, attentive but unobtrusive. Comfortable room and bed with plenty of space for the dog. Breakfast was excellent. The view from the room was amazing. The only reason for score of 4 for location is the accommodation is just a bit far out to walk into Fort William and back on an evening.
Tips:Fort William is not particularly dog friendly but Minaig certainly is. The Ben Nevis and The Crofters, both in the main street, allowed dogs into the bar where food is served. Both good but The Crofters had the edge.

This was our 2nd visit to Minaig. Ian and Valerie are very friendly and helpful and always ready to telll you interesting things that are happening in Fort William. Valerie's freshly cooked breakfasts are superb as are her home cooked cookies, shortbread, gingerbread etc. Which greet you in your room at the end of each day. With the position of Minaig being right opposite Loch Linnhe and being dog friendly, it is just home from home. Highly recommended
Tips:Fort William is a busy town with plenty of restaurants to choose from and various shops and banks. Take a trip up Ben Nevis in the cable car superb views. Isle of Skye is worth a visit especially on the Glenelg to Skye Ferry Fort William is well positioned to visit numerous places.

Ian and Valerie were very welcoming. Ian’s local knowledge is extensive and he whipped out his iPad at every opportunity and showed granddaughter pictures of Ben Nevis and deer. The accommodation was modern and up to date but it was those extra touches that made it special. We were just sorry we didn’t have the opportunity to sit out in the sun at the front of the house. Valerie’s homemade shortbread is amazing - and we scoffed the lot!

Had a lovely 6 day stay at Minaig. Ian and Valerie were perfect hosts, very friendly and chatty and nothing was too much trouble. Went off in the morning with Valerie's wonderful cooked breakfasts and returned back to find home baked cookies for us in our room. Superb position with uninterrupted views over the loch and a pleasant walk along the loch into Fort William. Very dog friendly, Dexter enjoyed his stay with you as well. Thank you both very much.
Tips:Very central for many places to go, Isle of Skye via the Glenelg Ferry, Glenfinnan Viaduct (Harry Potter fame) Oban to mention a few. A trip on the cable car to the top of Ben Nevis is worthwhile. Many restaurants to choose in Fort William. The restaurant at the Corran Ferry is worth a visit.

Very welcoming, experienced couple who made us feel at home straight away. A genuine highland welcome including a wealth of knowledge of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will recommend to others.
Tips:We enjoy hidden history so found Old Inverlochy Castle a great delight and the remains of the Old Fort in the town. A great place for snacks or coffee and the most delicious cake is out at Lochaber Farm Shop on the way to Aonach Mor. We enjoyed a visit to the West Highland Museum in the town, where the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The Jacobite Railway trip to Mallaig and back was well worth the visit.
